Members of the Alvirne High School JROTC participated in a spring clean-up effort at Westview Cemetery on Saturday, May 16. More than a dozen students, along with cemetery trustees and landscapers, worked throughout the morning clearing brush, trimming overgrown grass, and cleaning around headstones as the town prepared for its annual Memorial Day observances. The effort helped ready the historic cemetery ahead of Hudson’s Memorial Day Parade, which will take place on Monday, May 25, beginning at 2 p.m. The parade will step off from the Hudson Mall to Liberty Park.
