Alvirne CTE students have been working on this small affordable house for the community. The students are given all the raw materials, the plans for the house and a time frame. When finished the tiny home will be sold to someone in the town who needs it. The students get the experience, the company gets a house to sell and someone hopefully in the near future gets a house that they can live in built by students at Alvirne. The photos depict a normal day of a few students working on the framing together and getting everything finished that they need to. If the house isn’t finished this year then it will be continued by next year’s students and so on. I think that this is such an amazing idea because everyone benefits from it and helps with big issues in our community that not many people know about. Submission by Kolby Marynicz
