Police and Library Host National Night Out Event

There was everything from Revolutionary War reenactments to massive water balloon fights when the Rodgers Memorial Library and Hudson Police Department teamed up Tuesday, Aug. 4, for the sixth annual National Night Out.

The event brought residents together for an evening of family fun and community safety awareness. The event featured demonstrations of Revolutionary War weapons by the New Hampshire First Regiment, live music by the McMurphys, Haven the comfort dog, police cruiser tours, Touch-a-Truck, a dunk tank, a climbing wall, balloon creations, games, food trucks and more.

The annual event was also supported by numerous community partners, including the Hudson Lions, VFW, SAU 81, Rotary Club, Friends of Benson Park, Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts and the Nashua Humane Society.
