Members of the Donna Briggs Foundation held their third annual Corn Hole Tournament and Auction on Saturday, June 28, at the Hudson VFW Post 5791 with dozens of teams participating in the event. The money raised is earmarked for Camp Resilience, a camp for military veterans, first responders and their families. Briggs, who was a retired police Sgt. of the Hudson Police Department, was tragically killed while riding her bike along Route 125 in Kingston back in 2021. She was training for her second Police Unity Tour when she was struck from behind in a hit and run accident. A number of raffle items were also donated by area businesses to help raise funds.
