Seven members of the Hudson Conservation Commission were given some advice on using a chainsaw during a training session that took place at Central Fire Station on Liberty Street Monday night, June 1. Training Captain Kyle Levesque went through how the saw functions, maintenance, do’s and don’t’s of operation, sharpening and different techniques in cutting. Fire fighters also disassembled the saw to show how to adjust and replace the chain. The valuable training will help with the work members are doing to clean up some of the debris in the Town Forest from recent wind storms. Photos by Chris Paul
