Community Gathers on 25th Anniversary of 9-11

Hundreds of Hudson residents gathered at the September 11 Memorial in Benson Park on Friday evening, Sept. 11, to commemorate the 25th anniversary of the tragic events of Sept. 11, 2001.

The annual ceremony included remarks from Hudson Selectmen Heidi Jakoby and Chair Dillon Dumont, as well as Town Administrator Roy Sorenson. The Alvirne High School B-Naturals performed the National Anthem, while members of American Legion Post 48 Color Guard participated in the solemn ceremony and fired rifle rounds as part of the tribute. The evening provided an opportunity for residents, town officials, veterans, first responders and members of the community to come together in remembrance of those who lost their lives and the sacrifices made by first responders on that day.
