Alvirne Cheerleading Squad Finish Fourth in DI Event

The Alvirne High School Varsity Cheerleading squad finished their Fall season by competing in the New Hampshire Interscholastic Athletic Association’s Division I State Championship over the weekend and did quite well against the rest of the larger schools in the state.


The Broncos competed against 16 other DI teams on Sunday afternoon, Nov. 5, at Pinkerton Academy and were able to place fourth in the competition with a score of 93.
Pinkerton Academy won their third consectutive State Championship title with a score of 105.7. The squad from Dover High School was second with 102-points and Concord High School took third place with 100-points.
The team consists of: Abigail Labonte, Ashley Nadeau, Elena Pargas, Isabella Branco, Julia Allison, Krista Laioie, Lindsey Moreau, Mayah Davio, Miley Auger, Natalie Faulling, Nevaeh Alvarez, Robyn Mackey, Saniya Fenderson, and Shavla Dubois.
The team’s head coach was Colleen Gillis and her assistants were Angela Auger and Colleen Murphy.
