The Hudson Lions held a Blindness Awareness event at the Rodgers Memorial Library on Saturday, Oct. 19. Children were given the opportunity to be involved in fun and thought provoking activities that simulated being blind. Activities included an obstacle course, snack stations, sugar pumpkin decorating and talking with a member who had lost his sight. The local group is involved in a number of community activities throughout the year including Free Eye Exams, Roadside Cleanup, scholarships and the annual Santa’s Arrival put on by the town.
